I'm a 35-year-old native of Canada, although I have been living, studying and working in Europe and abroad for most of the last 10 years. My native language is English, although I myself am a student of Spanish, German and Dutch.
I have three academic qualifications: a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in English Language & Literature, a Master of Philosophy degree in Philosophy and a postgraduate certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL).
As part of my undergraduate degree, I also spent a year as an exchange student at the University of Freiburg (Germany), studying German language & literature of course.
Since completing my studies, I have been working as an English language instructor in Seoul (South Korea), London (England), Toronto (Canada), and currently in Jerez de la Frontera (Spain).
How did I end up in the south of Spain, you ask?
Well, the short answer is, my destiny was to met and eventually marry a Spanish girl, so I've chosen to start a new life here in Andalusia.
I enjoy this region very much, and I enjoy teaching English because it allows me to meet interesting people from various walks of life that are usually far-removed from my own.
Keep watching the skies!
